VS not to visit Koodamkulam

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The CPI (M) has asked opposition leader V S Achuthanandan not to visit the Koodamkulam nuclear plant. He had decided to visit the plant tomorrow. The party central leadership stopped him from visiting the plant as the CPM Tamil Nadu faction has taken a favourable stand towards the plant. The office of VS has informed the striking leaders in Koodamkulam his incapability of visiting it.


The central leaders of the party opine that his visit may send a wrong message as the Tamil Nadu CPM is not against the plant.


VS had discussed about it with noted lawyer Prashant Bhushan when he visited the capital city.
