KOCHI: The CBI Tuesday rejected the bail plea of crime branch DySP Abdul Rasheed in connection with an alleged attack on V B Unnithan, reporter, Mathrubhumi , Kollam. The CBI had sent Rasheed to their custody for two days.Unnithan was allegedly attacked following his reports on an unholy nexus between high-ranking police officers and goons in Kollam.
