KOCHI: Two residents of Kochi have been reported missing from Athirapilly waterfalls while taking bath at the tourist spot on Thursday afternoon. The Chalakkudy Police said that the missing persons are Varghese, 27, residing near Koottunkal Temple, Nettoor and Shibu, 30, of Thoppumpady.
Varghese, who originally hails from Konthuruthi, Thevara, has been residing at Nettoor for the past six years. He had been running a travel agency in partnership with another person at Thevara.
Further information on the other missing person, Shibu, is not available, police said. Both of them were reportedly part of a dance troupe that was returning after performing at a programme in Erode.
