Panel notice to professional college managements

The Admission Supervisory Committee for Professional Colleges has asked a few self-financing medical college managements to submit a reply on a complaint that they had demanded additional fee up to Rs.50 lakh for MBBS course even before the start of the admission process this year.


An official release issued by the committee here said that the government had forwarded the complaint lodged by one individual alleging that managements were asking for an advance payment of Rs.10 lakh for admission under the management quota.


Representatives of the managements mentioned in the complaint should appear before the committee sitting scheduled on April 18.
