ML has not backtracked on cabinet berth demand: Muneer

Saturday, April 07, 2012: Minister MK Muneer today opined that the Indian Union Muslim League (IUML) has not backtracked from its fifth cabinet berth demand in the Oommen Chandy cabinet.
Addressing the presspersons here on Saturday, Muneer added that the UDF had not presented any formula for resolving the issue before the Muslim League until now. IUML had been pressing for the fifth ministerial post ever since the UDF government assumed office last year.
He further added that he was not ready to comment on the issue based on the media reports.
