Sunday, April 8, 2012: A fire broke out in a godown of Food Corporation of India (FCI) at Wellington Island in Kochi on Sunday morning, spreading panic among residents.According to the authorities, food grains worth four lakhs were burnt.
The cause of the fire prima facie was an electrical short circuit.
