Lal plays an eccentric but loving husband and a dad, in director Revathy S Varma’s Mad Dad.The shooting of the film will start soon. The cast also includes Meghna Raj, Padmapriya, Janardhanan, Sreejith Vijay, Nazriya and Vijayaraghavan.
Revathy S Varma is a well-known ad filmmaker and has directed the flop film Surya-Jyothika starrer June R in Tamil, a few years back.
Mad Dad is being produced by P N Venugopal, who has earlier produced films like Rock N roll, 2 Harihar Nagar and In Ghost House Inn.The cinematographer is Pradeep Nair and the music director is Alex Paul.
