Jagathy Sreekumar’s condition better, says doctors

Saturday, April 7, 2012: The condition of veteran Malayalam actor Jagathy Sreekumar, who is undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Kozhikode for the serious injuries incurred in an accident, is reportedly doing better.
The ventilator support given to the actor is being removed, sources said.
Jagathy was showing signs of improvement until last Sunday, when he developed a fever. He was to be shifted to Christian Medical College (CMC) in Vellore on Monday, but the shifting was postponed.
He was also put on ventilator support, sources said. The decision to shift the actor to CMC Vellore was taken following the visit of doctors from Vellore, who assessed Jagathy ’s health condition on March 29.
Sources said that the actor will be shifted to Vellore only after the actor’s condition becomes stable.
