Fraud at District Courts in Kerala



THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The investigation team led by Shankumugham AC K.S. Vimal Kumar has started a probe into the fraud in district courts using fake stamp papers along with money suit. The probe is ordered after Thiruvananthapuram district judge B. Sudheendra Kumar received a confidential letter revealing this.


The district judge in his primary investigation found out the fake stamp papers worth Rs 2 crore which were filed along with 40 money suits at three Sub Courts in Thiruvananthapuram.


The judge on Thursday called City Police Commissioner T.J. Jose and Shankumugham AC Vimal Kumar to his chamber and made them aware of the gravity of the fraud. On the basis of the available proofs given by the judge the police registered a case.
