Four killed in lorry-car collision in Thrissur
Tuesday, April 03, 2012: Four persons were killed and one injured when an over speeding car in which they were travelling collided with a lorry near Mannuthy here on Tuesday.
The deceased has been identified as Thomaskutty, Shaju, Varkey and Lali, police told. The car was completely destroyed in the impact. The injured were taken out by the fire force personnel and police after cutting open the vehicle using metal shears.
