KCOHI: An auto driver’s licence was suspended on Wednesday following a complaint to the Deputy Transport Commissioner’s Office which stated that he showered abuses on a woman when she asked him for a ride.
The incident took place a few days ago near the Vyttila Welcare Hospital when Thadhevoos, the auto driver, refused to ply the woman commuter in his auto. When she sought the reason for his objection, he spoke rudely.
The woman then registered a complaint, after which the autorickshaw’s number was traced and the auto driver’s licence suspended.
