Kozhikode: A cyclist, who was on his way to buy milk, died after being hit by a car on the newly opened Malaparampa-Pooladikunnu bypass at Mokavoor on Thursday morning at 5.30 am. Sukumaran, 59 from Mokavoor Kadukuzhiyil is the deceased.The car going towards Ernakulam hit the cyclist when he was crossing the road. The persons in the car were on their way to Ernakulam to attend an interview. Though the new bypass was opened, street light have not been set up and that had led to the mishap.
Seetha is his wife and children Sajitha, Rejitha and Rahul.
