Chandy says decision on fifth cabinet berth soon

Monday, April 09, 2012: Chief Minister Oommen Chandy today opined that a final decision on Indian Union Muslim League’s (IUML) demand for fifth ministerial berth will be taken within two days.
Downplaying the recent media reports that the Congress High Command has denied League’s demand for an additional berth, Chandy added that he was not aware of such reports.
IUML had been pressing for the fifth ministerial post ever since the UDF government assumed office last year.
