Chandy says decision on fifth cabinet berth soon


Saturday, April 7, 2012: Chief Minister Oommen Chandy today opined that a resolution to the ongoing problems on Muslim League’s demand for fifth ministerial berth will be taken soon. After having closed door talks at the Aluva Palace late last night, the two told reporters that soon after Easter, a final decision will be taken.
The high command has taken a favourbale stand on Anoop Jacob’s ministerial post and he will be sworn in soon. A decision on League’s demand will be taken as soon as some suggestions of the high command are obtained.
The two said at present, there are no uncertainties in the cabinet. Medias are just creating news without our knowledge. Chennithala also held talks with UDF convenor P P Thankachan.
