Achuthanandan’s entry to PB was not deliberately denied: Karat

Tuesday, April 10, 2012: CPM general secretary Prakash Karat termed the news that VS was deliberately denied entry in the politburo as baseless. He said it as a media speculation
‘The party decided to induct new faces and avoid aged people. VS was retained in the central committee after giving special consideration. The party has not neglected VS in any way.’, he said.
‘All decisions were taken by the party congress, including VS’, Karat added.
