Friday, January 20, 2012: Kozhikode district is retaining its lead on the fifth day of the 52nd Kerala State School Arts Festival being held at Thrissur corporation ground with 587 points.Thrissur district is in the second position with 564 points and Malappuram district in the third position with 562 points.
Kalolsavam was off to a colourful start at the corporation stadium in Thrissur on Monday evening. The Kalolsavam was flagged off by DPI A Shajahan. The ceremonial lamp was lit by veteran singer KJ Yesudas in the absence of Chief Minister Oommen Chandy.
