Sunday, 08 January 2012: Opposition leader VS Achuthanandan today said that Chief Minister Oommen Chandy has no right to continue in the chair for reinstating senior Kerala IPS officer Tomin J. Thachankary. The government’s justification is that the official was reinstated as per the directive of the NIA.Speaking to the press on Sunday Achuthanandan slammed Chandy for reinstating Thachankary, who worked against the central and state governments, and giving him a respectable post.
