Thursday, January 12, 2012: Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) team visited the house of the deceased former company secretary of Malabar Cements Limited V. Saseendran at Kuridikkad in Palakkad district on Thursday. The team, headed by forensic experts collected vital evidences from Saseendran’s residence.
The CBI team spent three hours at Saseendran’s house and had collected information from his wife, B. Teena; father, K. Velayudhan; and brothers- V. Sanalkumar, V. Raveendran and V. Suthjesh Mahasthicha.
The former company secretary was the main witness in three corruption cases in which charge sheets were filed by the Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau a few months back.
It was following a High Court order on a petition filed by Saseendrans wife last month that the CBI had started the investigation into the unnatural death of Saseendran and his two sons at their Kanjikode residence on January 24, 2011.
The CBI recently filed two First Information Reports in the court against MCL Managing Director M. Sundaramurthy, Executive Secretary P. Suryanaraynanan and contractor V.M. Radhakrishnan.
