Friday, 20 January 2012: The agitators who were staging a strike at Chelora in Kannur district as a protest against the severe garbage disposal issue in the area were on Friday morning arrested and removed by the police.Tension erupted after the agitators blocked the truck loaded with garbage which came to dispose the trash in the area.
