Attack on Keralite students: One dismissed, three suspended

CHENNAI: The first accused identified as Akhil Babu of Ochira has been dismissed from the college in connection with the attack on Keralite students during a train journey. Three other students of Namakkal Paave College of Engineering have been suspended in connection with the incident.


The action was taken following the letter submitted by the Kerala police. All the accused are absconding and their mobile phones are switched off. The Tamil Nadu police had earlier registered a case against Akhil Babu.
