Kerala all set for grand Christmas festivities

Saturday, December 24, 2011: With Christmas just round the corner, people in Kerala are busy making last minute preparations. Markets are bustling with customers and traders and local shopkeepers are making a good business out of it.
Schools, churches and apartments in Christian localities are organizing cultural programmes to celebrate the festival. Owners of restaurants and malls have planned special Christmas menu to give a gala time to the visitors.
Santa Claus can be witnessed at various spots and greeting people. Carol groups from various churches and clubs have started visiting homes.
The cakes market has been lively for over a week now with cakes of different flavours flooding the shops. Prices, slightly on the higher side when compared to the previous year, have not dampened the enthusiasm of the public.
