Two arrested for sexually exploiting minors


KOCHI: The Thoppumpady police on Sunday arrested two persons on charges of unnatural sex, juvenile justice act, and illegal detention of children below 14 years. The arrested are Kamalraj, 44, Keezhppally Lane, Kadavanthra, and accomplice Poonkudi, 35, of Madhurai, Ernakulam.
Kamalraj is a railway ticket collector at Ernakulam Junction railway station.
According to the police, Kanakaraj and Poonkodi, used to take children below 14 years, including girls, to their rented house on Ambadi Lane at Thoppumpady by offering sweets and later sexually harassed them.
The incident happened in 2010. The police took action on the basis of a report by the Kerala Mahila Samakhya Society. The incident came to light during a counselling conducted by the Samakhya among students of various schools in Thoppumpady area. Around 60 children participated in the counselling.
During the counselling, three students revealed the abuse which they had to suffer, the police said.
Thoppumpady SI C K Sabu said that the police had  started a detailed probe into the incident. “The incident is grave in nature. The accused have been living together for the past five years in a rented house. They used to show porn visuals to the children on their laptop computer. We suspect  around 14 children fell prey to the exploitation,”  he said.

his face doesnt say that he is a child molester..but that lady is a fraud for sure..
