Southern Railway to run Onam special trains

Tuesday, August 23, 2011: The Southern Railway has announced more special trains for Onam Ramzan rush. Five special trains to Mangalore and Thiruvananthapuram have been announced. Ticket reservation for five special trains would be available from August 24.
The trains are:
06067/06068 Chennai Central-Mangalore- Chennai Central (Coimbatore via) would begin service from Chennai at 8.45 pm and would reach Mangalore by next day 1 pm.
06068 train would begin service from Mangalore at 8.30 pm and would reach Chennai by next at 12.25 noon.

The stops are Arakonam, Katpadi, Jolarpetta, Selam, Erode, Thirupur, Coimbatore, Palakkad, Shoranur, Kuttipuram, Tirur, Kozhikode, Vadakara, Thalassery, Kannur, Payyanur, Kanhangad and Kasargod. The trains would have one AC two tier, three tier coaches and 13 sleeper class, four general and two luggage compartments.
06304 train would begin service on August 29 at Nagercoil junction and reach Mangalore by 10.30 am.
06303 train would begin service on August 30, 1.30 pm from Mangalore and would reach Nagercoil by 4.45 am.
