Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Sunday called on President Pratibha Patil and discussed matters relating to the ongoing Parliament session and other issues of national and international importance.
The meeting lasted for 30 minutes during which the two leaders discussed the ongoing session of Parliament, a Rashtrapati Bhavan spokesperson said.
The meeting assumes significance amid frequent disruptions by the Bharatiya Janata Party over of corruption especially in connection with Commonwealth Games projects and the proposed fast by Anna Hazare on Lokpal Bill.
