Monday, August 22, 2011: Mild tremor measuring around 1.4 in the Richter scale was experienced in few areas of Thrissur district on Monday and has triggered panic among the residents in the area. The tremor was experienced for few seconds in the suburban areas of Chembuthara, Chembukkavu, Kolazhi, Vellanikkara etc. The district administration informed no damage had been reported from anywhere in the district.
