KC (M) to set up political affairs committee

Sunday, August 14, 2011: Kerala Congress (M) has decided to constitute a political affairs committee to look into the charges of corruption, if any, levelled against the party leaders and workers in future, said KM Mani, party chairman and Finance Minister.
Mani was addressing a press conference at Charalkunnu near Kozhencherry on Saturday.
According to him, political corruption is on the rise in India and KC (M) will set itself a role model to other parties by setting up its own mechanism to check corruption. He said the party would set up both State-level and district-level committees to look into the allegations of corruption levelled against the party leaders and workers.
