August 1, 2011: The CPM on Monday removed Gopi Kottamurickal from the post of Ernakulam district secretary of the party. There were complaints received by the state committee against Gopi, leveling allegations of moral misconduct.The state committee asked the district committee to probe the allegations and take action. MV Govindan Master will have the temporary charge.
