Thursday 5 May 2011: All India Bank Officers’ Confederation (AIBOC) has called off the state level strike planned for tomorrow, AIBOC state president PV Sivasankara Pillai said in a statement.
The strike was called off in view of the discussion held between the AIBOC leaders and Federal Bank officials, Sivasankara Pillai said.
The strike was called in protest against the ouster of V.K. Prasad from service. Prasad is the State Secretary of All India Bank Officers Confederation, and the National President of Federal Bank Officers Association.
