Plus two Results mistake Investigation

Tuesday, May 31, 2011: The government is trying to correct the mistakes noticed in the website in connection with the plus two results. The results of many students who have passed were found failed in the website.
Chief Minister Oommen Chandy has directed to clear the mistakes and update the renewed results. Meantime, an investigation into the incident has begun. The chief secretary has sought an explanation from the DPI on the mistakes noticed.
The renewed results were published in the higher secondary director’s website last evening. The results published earlier were renewed after including the grace marks of some students. This led to the failure of almost 2000 students. The renewed results found many passed students failed. After complaints poured in, the site was blocked last night itself.
