Indu missing-womens-body-found-in-aluva

Wednesday 4 April 2011: The Crime branch would probe the case related to the death of K. Indu, a research scholar at the National Institute of Technology, Calicut (NIT-C), whose body was recovered from the Periyar on Thursday a few days after she went missing from the Thiruvananthapuram-Mangalore Express train.
The railway police, who are probing the case has come to a conclusion that Indu has committed suicide. But her family members rules out any chances of suicide, claiming there is no reason to do so. Home Minister Kodiyeri Balakrishnan today issued order to investigate the case by crime branch.
According to the railway police Indu was in love with Subash, one among her colleagues. Subash was with her during the final rail journey and is under custody by the police for prompting Indu to commit suicide.
