Tuesday, May 24, 2011: Chief Minister Oommen Chandy today opined that the UDF government would take necessary steps to enforce Goonda act strictly in the State. Chandy was speaking to the reporters after the police officers’ meeting held at the police head quarters here on Tuesday.
Chief Minister added that the government will provide full support to the State police department so that justice will be served to all people. The meeting also assessed the law and order situation in the Sate. Community policing would be implemented strictly and additional five police officers would be appointed in each of the community police stations, he added.
